Educational Goals/College:

I am majoring in Public Health: Health Policy and Administration and Co-Majoring in Pre-Health on the Physician Assistant Track.

Grade Level:

Freshman at Miami University (Ohio)

Current Employment/Career Goals:

I currently work as the Lead Interviewer for iScribeMD, a medical
documentation company. I conduct interviews, review applications, and hire in
employees. I also continue working clinically training incoming scribes and
working with Nurse Practioners, Physician Assistants, and Doctors across all
the Metro Toledo Promedica Hospitals. My career goal is to become a
Physician Assistant specializing in Gynecology.

Certifications:

Elder Care, Steven Covey Leader In me, Stop the Bleed, BLS, Infection Control, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Pharmacy Technician Trainee.

Notable School and Community Activities:

  • I am a musical theatre nerd at heart! I love listening to music, going to
    concerts, and watching musicals. My favorite musical is La La Land and
    Favorite Band is Red Hot Chillis Peppers!
  • I hate staying inside especially with a warm summer breeze, I love
    going on walks, runs, and hanging out with my friends!
  • I have a passion for advocacy. My step brother Aiden, who has Autism,
    is one of the most amazing people I know. I spend most of my summer
    volunteering with his Summer Camp and helping out with his Baseball
    Games!
  • In College, my University has over 600 clubs and organizations to join! I
    am hoping to join a few once I get there grounded in healthcare, music,
    and adventure/baking!

Notable HOSA Activities and Accomplishments:

I am entering my 4th school year as a HOSA Member! I have qualified for
state twice (Once in Medical reading and once in Healthcare Administration). I
am a proud recipient of the Charles Rivers Scholarship! I am soon to enter my
3rd year of serving as an International Voting Delegate for Ohio HOSA where
our team helps in electing the new International Executive Council. I also
engage and donate in Blood drives locally with my chapter and served as
Chapter Vice President and President. My most memorable HOSA memory
was in Washington, D.C during WLA where I advocated for Perkins Funding
on Capitol Hill with Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur’s Staff!
