I plan to apply to Miami University, Case Western University, The Ohio State University, and Creighton University majoring in Biology on a pre-dental track. I am considering enlisting in the Navy for two years to work as a Dental Assistant.

Senior at Scarlet Oaks Career Development Campus

My current career goal is to work as a pediatric dentist, specializing in helping children with disabilities such as Autism or Down Syndrome.

I currently hold certifications in CPR, Stop The Bleed, and Teen Mental Health
Awareness. I am completing my Medical Assisting license, and by my senior year I will
also complete my Radiology Certification, OSHA 10 Certification, and be a Registered
Dental Assistant (RDA).

• I have been playing flute since I was eleven and have had the opportunity to also
  perform on piccolo and alto flute in various concert bands. I also have been
  selected as a member of the District 14 honor band for my eighth grade and
  junior year.
• I have accumulated 160+ hours across multiple Dental offices and competed in
  Dental Assisting.
• I have a huge CD collection gifted to me by my awesome dad. My favorite bands
  include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden!
• I had the opportunity to be a Blood Cancer United student visionary leading a
  team in Cincinnati to raise funds and advocate for patient support.
• An activity that helps me de-stress after a long day is to go home, and put on a vinyl record, and listen to some music. I have a record player with a decent sized collection of records (that is growing daily!). I really enjoy 70’s rock like Hall and Oates and Billy Joel.

• This is my third year in HOSA! I have competed in Dental Terminology and
  Dental Science and have qualified for state all three years.
• I serve my chapter as HOSA Vice President.
